PTV Announced Paid Internships for 2021-2022 | Pakistan Government Internships
What is PTV?
Pakistan Television communication network is state-owned media under Pakistan Government and was established in 1964, Lahore. It was a historic date 26th November 1964 when the first broadcast was aired in black and white.
Afterward, other cities were added to the list includes Rawalpindi in 1967, Peshawer and Quetta were added in 1974 and now PTV has several operating offices across Pakistan and a head office located in Islamabad (Capital of Pakistan).
PTV Paid Internships program
Recently PTV Announced Paid Internships for the citizens of Pakistan, this will be an opportunity for those looking for the biggest affiliation. PTV will provide them a platform where eligible candidates can show their skills and get a chance to be hired by PTV permanently.
The Internship tenure is around one year and those who want to apply for the internship must complete the full duration of the internship, Stipend will be given to each candidate, and there was a total of 200 positions announced so don’t be a delay and apply now!
Preferred filed were; Mass communications, Media, Engineering, Management, Marketing, sports, and current affairs.
Degree holders candidates can also apply.
Eligibility criteria of PTV Internships 2021-2022
Age: up to 27 years.
Education: BS/Master (16 Years education) from HEC recognized institute/university in above-mentioned degrees/programs with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Skills: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, must exhibit initiatives, leadership, tact & good independent judgments.
Experience: Not mandatory, only highly motivated curious individuals with a learning attitude.
Domicile proof: Must have domicile certificate of concerned province/district.
Terms and Condition for PTV Internship
Only shortlisted candidates will be called up for the Interviews and tests.
Candidates are advised to apply to one program according to their field and interest.
Candidates will be allotted according to the Quota,
1. This is a one 1 year internship program and does not guarantee any kind of employment with PTV after completion.
2. Candidates providing incorrect/misleading information shall be disqualified immediately at any stage.
3. The candidate should not be enrolled or beneficiary of any Government internship program.

- Summer and winter internship
There were two internship intakes, one can be summer internships and the other is winter internships, although a majority of the students enrolled themselves in summer internship programs due to excess time availability rather than winter internships where students have one month off. There were a lot of vacancies available during the summer internships program so you have more chances to be shortlisted, both summer and winter internships are opportunities for students, the duration of summer internships are from May till August, however, winter internships are from December till February
- Virtual and physical
There were two ways internships can take place, one can be a virtual Internship or the other could be a physical internship. A virtual internship is been adopted by many organizations after pandemics and these internships could be done from home. Virtual Internships have benefits like you are not obliged to time and hours, you don’t have to bear any cost, etc. However physical internships have their benefits like you have hands-on experience, you are working physically under-trained staff, you have more idea about the culture of an organization, etc.
- Paid and un paid
There were two types of Internships available in which you will get in return once you complete the Internship. The first one is Paid and the other is Unpaid, In paid Internship, you will get a stipend which can be your financial reward by organizations at the end of your internship. However, if we are talking about the unpaid internship then you will only get an internship completion certificate, these are most popular in NGOs where you serve on a volunteer basis. There were both advantages of doing a Paid internship and an unpaid internship.

How to Apply for PTV Paid Internship program
Now to apply for the PTV Internship, you need to apply directly through the PTV official portal HERE before 16th August, after 16th august PTV portal will not be accepting applications anymore and also incomplete and wrong credentials will be disqualified.
